Like the pursuit of a romance, an impractical delusion is my aesthetic philosophy. I believe the idea of delusion has the power to create fantastic situation in a moment.
I make objects that are provocative, deductive, enigmatic. My work is about an ideal, a mythology: a utopia. I have to be consciously aware and alert because this reality exists in the gap between space and time, in an alternative layer and depth. My work uses excessiveness to create a phantasmagorical situation. I want to change the world, maybe nothing is going to change, but it might through my art.
